Welcome

In pursuance of our promise to promote and enhance the professional and research activities amongst the Anaesthethists and Critical Care professionals in Oman, Oman Society of Anaesthesia and Critical Care is organizing its “Second National Meeting” in January 2009.

In order to keep abreast with the advances in the specialty of Critical Care, the focus of this year's meeting will be on “Current Trends in Critical Care”. To this regard, the organising committee would like to encourage all its members to come forward and present their research papers, reviews and interesting case reports.

During this meeting, we shall also have the privilege of sharing the experience and knowledge of eminent speakers from India and Saudi Arabia on important topics in the field of Critical Care.

The President of the society and the chairperson of the organizing committee would like to extend a warm invitation to anaesthetists, intensivists, medical colleagues and other health care professionals to join us in this important educational event.
